The Engineer is played by the humans in Zombie Survival, used exclusively for the humans in both PvP and PvE. Unlike in regular Team Fortress 2 gameplay, the Zombie Survival Engineer is unable to build Sentry Guns, being restricted to only dispensers and teleporters.
In the Classes Swapped custom round, the Engineer is instead played by the BLU team, who must kill all of the medics on the RED team.
